Scott Heydon is a Senior Coach for the Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI) and as a Washington resident, has recently established an LEI office in Seattle. Supporting LEI’s mission of “making things better through lean thinking and practice” Scott has over 10 years of experience supporting lean transformations. As head of Global Strategy for Starbucks, Heydon was first intrigued when he read “Lean Thinking” by Womack and Jones. After conducting some initial successful experiments, Heydon was selected to lead a transformation for Starbucks stores around the world. After helping to build capability and delivery amazing results, Heydon left Starbucks and has since been a coach for LEI, working with various organizations around the country.
