Why is this a priority?

State and local business and labor have a tremendous impact on regional and state level CTE efforts. This is our priority because it is a priority for our stakeholders.

CTE courses support student learning focused around a student’s interest and the needs in and around the local community.

Increase employment options and opportunity for both employers and looking to begin a career.

How are we doing?

The data shows a very slight increase in STEM.

Partnerships between education and business, business and government, or management and labor, are strong and positive.

Increasing opportunities for young people to experience career focused activities.

What are we working on?
  • Increase Graduation Rate: Through engaging our young people in their learning and giving them every opportunity to show us what they know and are able to do.
  • Increase Graduation Rate: Through relevant and rigorous curriculum and a delivery model that fosters a learning atmosphere and that leads to tangible results (i.e., certification and career readiness)
  • Increase Graduation Rate: By developing our next generation of community leaders by offering multiple opportunities for young people to enhance their leadership skills based on interest and aptitude.
